The new haunter from James Wan (INSIDIOUS), based on the real life exploits of married paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, has picked up a new, more obvious title.
Variety reports that Mackenzie Foy (BREAKING DAWN) and Joey King (CRAZY STUPID LOVE) will join Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga (who play the Warrens) as the children of the Perrons (Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor). Now called THE WARREN FILES (formerly THE CONJURING), the film is based on one of the Warrens' most famous of cases, in which they investigated the legend of a witch's curse on a Rhode Island family's farm in the 1970s. Production is set to get underway this month.
