If you are in the Toronto area this Saturday, December 3, check out "Fright Nights at the Projection Booth", the new monthly film series at the new Projection Booth Theatre (1035 Gerrard St. E at Jones Ave) focusing on horror films by new emerging filmmakers and cult classics. Film writer and FANGORIA scribe Kelly Stewart will give an introduction to the films, and will be giving away amazing prizes from Fango and Suspect Video.

This month it will be blood, laughs and scares in the art world with an evening of art-themed horror!

A BUCKET OF BLOOD - 9 p.m.

The 1959 classic horror/comedy starring Dick Miller is the legendary Roger Corman's brilliant send up of the 1950's art scene and beatnik culture. Dick plays a socially awkward busboy that makes it in the art world by using dead bodies as his "model" for success. This was the first in a trilogy of horror/satire films that Corman made with writer Charles B. Griffith (LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and CREATURE FROM THE HAUNTED SEA) before moving on to the acclaimed Poe films of the 1960's.

The night will also feature the Toronto premiere of Matt Pennington's THE GALLERY (featured last year at "Buffalo Screams") and the HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN contest winning trailer VAN GORE by Peter Strauss and Keith Hodder. Director and cast for both will be in attendance!
