ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES was in development in February
2008, announced by 20th CENTURY FOX to be considered a true sequel to the 1986
classic ALIENS film, despite its new medium. Fast forward four years and
numerous delays later, and the release of the highly anticipated title is finally
here offering up a drop in-and-out cooperative multiplayer campaign, fun
multiplayer modes featuring the continuing battles of space Marines against the
Xenomorphs. Gearbox Software, having promised to stay as true to the game's
predecessors as possible, as they're huge fans of the ALIENS franchise as well,
have delivered something great that will have you hooked for hours on end
before saying, "Game over man! Game Over!"

Despite a title that would be easily mistaken for a first
release, DmC: DEVIL MAY CRY is actually the fifth in the acclaimed action
series from Capcom. The new moniker has developer Ninja Theory, known for their
work on HEAVENLY SWORD, under the hood, but the refreshing reboot may have been
just what the doctor ordered. Easily one of the best action titles in recent memory,
the game should count DEVIL MAY CRY among the top dogs of the genre once again.
With a compelling storyline and fantastic combat all wrapped up in an amazing
new art design, DmC: DEVIL MAY CRY is the best the series has seen and likely a
name that will come up at the end of 2013 for Game of the Year honors.
Developer Funcom and publisher EA recently released Issue #2
for their hit PC MMORPG, THE SECRET WORLD, and the new content drop adds plenty
of fun new items— a rocket launcher, a plastic surgeon's hospital known as The
Modern Prometheus, a new barbershop called Ockham's Razor, Mission Pack #2, new
nightmare mode dungeons and more—to an already great game. While the new art
for Issue #2 may make you a bit squeamish, the expansion a welcome addition
that ensures the good times keep coming in THE SECRET WORLD.
Horror fans will get the chance to enjoy a new RESIDENT EVIL 6 demo this September 18th on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Players will enjoy new content not contained in the previously released demo available exclusively to Xbox 360 owners of DRAGON'S
DOGMA.
THQ’s DARKSIDERS II and Square Enix’s SLEEPING DOGS could quite
